When we discovered removing animals from food production would protect the planet. We didn’t ask why, we said, Why Not.
The solution was simple (for us food-loving geniuses, that is); let’s create an algorithm capable of learning how to combine an infinite combination of plants that replicate the flavour & texture of animal products – while making them taste even better.

At NotCo we replicate the animal products we love to eat - they taste like, cook like and feel like them - but are made with the best of plants. And not only that, by taking the animal out of the equation, we have managed to considerably reduce the environmental impact of the production of each product when compared to their animal counterparts. WHAT IS THE MOTIVATION FOR CREATING PLANT-BASED PRODUCTS THAT TASTE & FEEL LIKE ANIMAL-BASED ONES?
NotCo was born because we love food and we don't want to change what we like so much about it. But today, what we love to eat is hurting us and the environment. We believe that replicating the animal products we all love to eat, but using plants, gives us all an opportunity to reduce our environmental impact without even realizing it. We are here to create a different food system - reinvent it, actually - without animals and for everyone, everywhere.
