Ingredients

  • 2 NotChicken Burger™

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • 1 tsp ginger, grated

  • 2 cloves garlic, grated

  • 1 cup orange juice

  • ¼ cup sugar

  • ¼ cup rice vinegar

  • ¼ cup soy sauce

  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes

  • 2 tbsp cornstarch + ¼ cup water

  • Orange zest

  • Sesame seeds

  • Cashews

  • Green Lettuce Leaves

Steps

  1. Cook the NotChicken Burger™ as directed. While they cook, make the sauce.

  2. Combine the sesame oil, ginger and garlic in a sauce pan over medium heat. Cook for 1 minute and add the orange juice, sugar, rice vinegar, soy sauce and red pepper flakes.

  3. Cook until simmering and lower heat to low for 5 minutes. Add the cornstarch and water mixture and bring to a low boil.

  4. Remove from heat and set aside.

  5. Cut the NotChicken™ into small ½” pieces and toss them in the orange sauce.

  6. Add into individual lettuce leaves and top with chopped cashews and sesame seeds. Enjoy!
