Since 2021, this unique, first-of-its-kind, platform has been granted 14 patents from the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Giuseppe has the most advanced and complete portfolio of patents known today in the food science domain. Our intellectual property covers most of the aspects where artificial intelligence models assist humans in creating plant-based food products end-to-end.

A SIMPLE IDEA - THAT’S WHAT GUIDED THE BEST INVENTIONS

The principle behind Giuseppe is quite simple: knowing the molecular composition of animal-based ingredients, can we find similar components in the more than 300,000 edible plants out there?

Using A.I., we created a food development platform to do exactly that.

At NotCo we develop state-of-the-art A.I. models. We understand that progress made in the machine learning field and other scientific areas is essential to boost the advances in the use on A.I. for Food Science. We have a robust research component at the core of NotCo’s A.I.

NOT A REGULAR TEAM

One of NotCo’s founders and the creator of the first version of Giuseppe, Karim Pichara, leads NotCo’s A.I. group.

Karim has a PhD. In Computer Science from Universidad de Chile a Postdoc in Applied Computer Science from Harvard University, where he was also a research associate.

The team comprises of significant engineering power including Machine Learning, Software Engineers, Designers, Research Chefs, Food Scientists, and Analytical Scientists, along with team members who translate the technology and scientific discoveries to the rest of the company and external partners.
