This side dish is about to steal the show this holiday season!
Try making this potato gratin using NotMilk™, it’s delicious, tastes like milk and cooks like milk.

Ingredients
- 2 cups of NotMilk™
- 5 potatoes
- 1/2 white onion
- 1 1/2 tsp of vegetable oil
- 1/8 cup of wheat flour
- 1/4 tsp of ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp of ground white pepper
- 1/4 tsp of ground black pepper
- 1tsp of salt
Steps
- Preheat a pot at low heat. Add oil and flour. Stir for 2 minutes.
- Slowly add all of the warm NotMilk™. Cook for one minute at low heat.
- Add the nutmeg, white and black pepper and salt. Mix and cook for 3 more minutes at low heat.
- Let the sauce rest.
- Finely dice the the onion. Heat a separate pot with a splash of oil and sauté the onions for 15 minutes.
- Add the sauce to the pot with the onions and let simmer at low heat for two minutes. Put the mix into a bowl and let rest.
- Once the sauce is cold, slice the potatoes thin with a mandolin.
- Add the potato slices in the sauce and mix thoroughly with your hands.
- Put the potatoes on top of each other in a circular format around the pot towards the center. Cover them with the remaining sauce.
- Bake at 320o for 40 minutes.
- Decorate with chives and serve.
